Barrie Bathroom Renovations is a quote-request service operated by PM Consulting Inc., and these terms explain how that service works: there is no fee to you for using it, your renovation contract is made directly with an independent contractor, and any cost figure on this site is a sourced range, not a quote for your bathroom. These terms are not the contract for your renovation. The written quote and contract you sign with the contractor is that agreement. Ontario law governs. Last updated: September 2026.
1. What this site is, and what it costs you
Barrie Bathroom Renovations matches a homeowner's request to one Barrie-area renovation contractor, and it does not charge the homeowner for that match.
You submit a request through the form on this site: your name, phone number, email address, neighbourhood or street, and a description of the bathroom work you want done. PM Consulting Inc. reviews the request and passes it to the one contractor matched to your area and project. There is no fee to you for this step, no membership, and no charge for a callback or a walk-through offered by the matched contractor.
PM Consulting Inc. is not a general contractor and does not perform renovation work itself. It operates the quote-request service and, separately, provides the marketing systems that the Barrie-area contractor uses to receive and respond to requests.
Using this site does not obligate you to hire anyone. You can review a quote from the matched contractor and decide not to proceed, at no cost.
2. Your contract is with the contractor, not with this site
The agreement for your renovation is between you and the independent contractor who does the work.
Once a request is matched, the contractor is expected to provide a written quote, proof of WSIB coverage and liability insurance, and an ESA-licensed electrician for any electrical work in the project, as part of a normal, properly documented renovation. Ask to see each of these before signing anything or making a payment. Confirming them is between you and the contractor.
PM Consulting Inc. is not a party to that contract, does not set the contractor's price, does not collect payment on the contractor's behalf, and is not responsible for the quality, timeline or outcome of the renovation work itself. Any dispute about the work, the price or the schedule is between you and the contractor who signed the contract with you.
3. Cost figures on this site are sourced ranges, not quotes
Any dollar figure you read on this site, including the cost guide, comes from a named third-party source and describes a typical range, not a price for your bathroom.
Figures are attributed in the text to the source they came from, such as a published cost guide, and are marked with the year they were checked. They exist to help you understand the general shape of pricing for a project like yours before you talk to a contractor. They are never an offer, an estimate, or a promise of what your project will cost.
Your actual price depends on the size of your bathroom, the fixtures you choose, the condition of the plumbing and electrical behind the walls, and what the matched contractor finds once they see the space. Only the written quote from that contractor is a number you can rely on.
4. No guarantee of availability
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a contractor is available for your project or your timeline.
At any given time, the contractor matched to Barrie-area requests may have a full schedule, may not service a specific neighbourhood, or may decline a project that is outside their scope. PM Consulting Inc. makes a reasonable effort to respond to every request within one business day, but a reply does not guarantee a booking date, a specific price, or that work can start by any particular time.
If no contractor is available to take on your project, you are told so, and you are free to look elsewhere. There is no obligation on either side beyond that response.
5. Governing law and questions
These terms, and the operation of this website, are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site or the quote-request service itself is heard in Ontario.
These terms do not limit any right you have against the independent contractor under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act or any other law that applies to your renovation contract directly with them.

Does it cost anything to request a quote?
No. Submitting a request through Barrie Bathroom Renovations costs nothing. PM Consulting Inc. does not charge the homeowner a fee for matching a request to a contractor or for a follow-up call.
Who am I actually signing a contract with?
You sign a renovation contract directly with the independent Barrie-area contractor matched to your request, not with PM Consulting Inc. Read that contract carefully and ask for proof of WSIB coverage and liability insurance before you sign it.
Are the prices on the cost guide what I will pay?
No. The figures on the cost guide are sourced ranges from named third-party guides, checked in 2026. They describe typical projects, not your bathroom. Your price comes from the written quote the matched contractor gives you.
What happens if no contractor is available in my area?
You are told directly if no contractor can take on your project or timeline. There is no fee either way, and nothing stops you from looking for another contractor on your own.
