Privacy Policy
Barrie Bathroom Renovations is a quote-request service operated by PM Consulting Inc., and this policy explains what happens to your information when you use the quote form: what it collects, where it travels, who reads it, and how you can see, correct or delete your record. The policy follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the federal law that governs how a Canadian business handles personal information collected in the course of commercial activity. Last updated: September 2026.
What the quote form asks for
Barrie Bathroom Renovations collects only what is needed to route your request to the right contractor and to reply to you about it.
Six fields make up a request:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your neighbourhood or street, so the request goes to a contractor who covers that part of Barrie
- What you want done: a short description of the bathroom work
- The page you submitted from, added automatically so a follow-up call can refer to the right service
Nothing else is asked for. The form does not ask for a budget number, a mortgage detail or any government identification. If a message field ever includes something you did not mean to send, such as a card number typed by mistake, ask and it is removed from the record.
Browsing does not identify you. Reading a service page, the cost guide or the about page does not create a record with your name on it. A record starts only when you submit the form.
Where your request goes, and who reads it
A submitted request has one destination and, from there, reaches exactly two people.
The system that holds it. Your request is stored in PM Consulting Inc.'s customer relationship management system, GoHighLevel. That system is where every request from this site lands, whether it came from the home page or the contact page.
Who reads it. Paul Meyers at PM Consulting Inc. reviews every request first. Once the work matches a service area, the request is shared with the one Barrie-area contractor matched to that request, so they can prepare a written quote. Your details are not sent to a pool of contractors and are not shared with anyone bidding against each other for your job.
No selling. Your name, phone number, email address, neighbourhood or the description of your project are never sold, rented or traded to a third party. Nothing about your request is used for any purpose beyond answering it and connecting you to the matched contractor.
No advertising tracking. This site does not run an advertising pixel and does not build an ad-retargeting audience from your visit. The site is not sending your browsing activity to an ad network to follow you around the internet afterward.
How long a record is kept
A request is kept as long as it is useful to you, and no longer than that.
A request that turns into a quote or a booked renovation stays on file so PM Consulting Inc. and the matched contractor can refer back to it during the job. A request that goes nowhere, such as one where the homeowner never answers a follow-up call, is kept only long enough to make a reasonable attempt to reach you and answer the request. It is not repurposed for marketing once the original request is closed.
Server logs from hosting and delivery of the site itself (IP address, browser type, page requested, time) are kept for a short period for security and uptime, and are not used to build a profile of a visitor.
Your rights under PIPEDA
PIPEDA gives you the right to see, correct and, in most cases, ask for the deletion of personal information a business holds about you.
Seeing your record. Email paul@pmconsulting.ca or call 705-491-2627 and ask what is on file. A copy is provided within the time PIPEDA allows, which is 30 days in most cases.
Correcting it. A new phone number, a changed email address or a corrected street name is updated as soon as you ask.
Requesting deletion. The same email address and phone number handle a deletion request. If your job has already been booked and completed with a contractor, some project records may need to stay on file for warranty or dispute reasons, and you are told this at the time you ask.
If you are not satisfied. Contact PM Consulting Inc. first and it is dealt with directly. If a concern is still not resolved, you can bring it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, which oversees PIPEDA.
Outside links. Some pages link to government or reference pages outside this site, such as the City of Barrie or the Canada Revenue Agency. Those sites run their own privacy practices, separate from this one.
Changes to this policy. If how information is handled changes, this page is updated and the date at the top moves. The terms of service cover the quote-request service itself and the relationship between you, PM Consulting Inc. and the matched contractor.
Privacy: frequently asked questions
Does Barrie Bathroom Renovations sell my information?
No. Your name, phone number, email address and project details are never sold, rented or traded. They are used only to answer your request and to share it with the one Barrie-area contractor matched to your job.
Who actually sees my request?
Paul Meyers at PM Consulting Inc. reviews it first, and the matched contractor sees it once your project is assigned to them. No one else receives your details, and the request is not shopped to multiple contractors at once.
Does the site track me for ads?
No. This site does not run advertising pixels or build a retargeting audience from your visit. Your activity on the site is not used to follow you with ads on other websites.
How do I ask for my record to be deleted?
Email paul@pmconsulting.ca or call 705-491-2627. Your contact details are removed. Records tied to a completed job may need to stay on file for warranty reasons, and you are told why at the time.
